Author: Andrew Schembri Date: January 06, 2008 Manufacturer: Noctua Provider: Noctua « Introduction | Testing » Page 2: Specs: ![]() Volume: 1.4ml (for at least 15 applications) Specific Gravity: 2.49 g/cm³ Color: gray Recommended storage time (before use): up to 2 years Recommended usage time (on the CPU): up to 3 years Peak operating temperature: -50°C to +110°C Recommended operating temperature: -40°C to +90°C Application NT-H1 has a gray appearance and is rather thick. It’s a very strange compound in that it doesn’t feel “slimy” or “gooey.” It actually has a rather stiff and thick consistency. ![]() Installation ![]() Noctua recommends putting a small dab of the paste in the middle of the processor die, followed by twisting the heat sink clockwise and counter clockwise a couple of times in order to spread the grease. I tried this with great results: the paste was completely spread across the CPU as well as the heatsink. ![]() « Introduction | Testing » |
